The international break is in full swing, and with it, transfer speculation is rife.
West Ham club insider ExWHUemployee has not helped the matter, either, after teasing fans on Twitter by hinting that we are interested in Lyon forward Memphis Depay.
The Dutch attacker was in Euro 2020 qualifying action for the Netherlands on Thursday night, and stunned the crowd by scoring twice and assisting his side’s other two goals on route to a 4-0 win over Belarus.
A clip of the 25-year-old’s incredible performance was then shared on the social media platform, to which Ex quoted with the caption: “I think this fella deserves another crack at the Premier League @WestHamUtd”.

Speaking on the ‘West Ham Way’ podcast over the summer, it was Ex who linked us with a move for the former Manchester United reject back then, although the deal did not progress any further than his speculation.
If we are now in the hunt for the Moordrecht-born ace, valued by TransferMarkt at £45million, we would be getting a superb attacker, as he has lit up the Ligue 1 this season with six goals and eight assists.
And when fans saw Ex’s hint, they let it be known how much Depay would be welcomed at the London Stadium…
I really do hope this is a hint of some sort. Decent Arnie replacement

Ex can I please inform you that IF we are even remotely interested in Memphis Depay then we will run the streets of England naked and probably throw a house party.

£25m might buy his left leg.

I hope that’s a hint.
