Reports this morning indicate that Manchester City are willing to pay £14 million for Craig Bellamy. West Ham have so far refused to let the Welshman talk to either Tottenham or Manchester City, but it appears that City are getting closer to the Hammers’ valuation, and Bellamy could soon be moving north.

It is believed that Bellamy would prefer a move to Tottenham, but the Hammers would prefer a sale to Manchester City, which could see the ‘Loyal One’ re-united with Mark Hughes.

Perhaps dear old ‘Arry will learn that the way he goes about (alledgedly) ‘tapping up’ players is a disgrace, and that it is not doing him, or the reputation of the Premier League any good at all. Or then again, perhaps he will shrug his shoulders, twitch a bit and mumble something about ‘bare bones’….
