Cheerio To A Bad October And Hello To What We Hope Is A Far Better November

|

October was a painful month for the Hammers with the support unable to celebrate a single win.

Thankfully, November has started in a better fashion with the Hammers starting the month with a 4-2 win against Burnley, although the side left it late to wrap up the three points on offer with two late goals.

The win lifts West Ham up to thirteenth in the Premier League table and puts a gap of six points between us and the relegation pack.

Next Saturday, the Hammers travel to Yorkshire to take on Huddersfield, a side that are rooted to the bottom of the table and our boss, Manuel Pellegrini, will be looking to take the three points on offer.

Following the entertaining victory, against Burnley, Pellegrini spoke to the media with the boss being quoted by the BBC, as having remarked

“We needed to win because we have had a lot of games where have created chances but not won. Yes, we could have scored more.

“The first and most important thing is we won the game. We have been playing well and creating chances but we have either drawn or lost. We trust the way we play. I think the fans enjoyed this and in the moments of bad results I have always felt they were behind the team.”

As they say, the margin between success and failure can be fine, hopefully, following this win, the tide has turned, and West Ham can start to further climb the table.
