Some West Ham United reacted angrily to comments made by manager David Moyes.
With the resumption of the Premier League season on the horizon, the Hammers have been preparing with training measures set out by the UK government and league officials, after the green light was given for the campaign to resume on the provisional date of June 17th.
The Scottish has been criticised since his return to the London Stadium, with his team currently sitting 16th in the Premier League, marginally above the relegation places.
Moyes told the club’s official website that he was pleased with his side’s preparations, ensuring that his side will collect as many points as they possibly can with nine games still to play in the 2019/20 campaign.
With this in mind, supporters were not impressed with Moyes’ comments and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that the “Championship is coming up”, and did not take in what the boss said, while another added that he is out of his depth.
