Carroll Set for Return to West Ham Squad for Stoke Fixture

|

Results fell quite nicely for West Ham United yesterday (Saturday).

As we wait for our fixture against Stoke City, on Monday evening, the Hammers are still six-points clear of the relegation places.

A win, against Stoke City, would go a long way to ensuring West Ham United retain their Premier League status for next season.

Ahead of the game, David Moyes has received a boost, with regards to his squad.

Talking to the media, at his pre-match press conference, the Scotsman has confirmed that Andy Carroll has now returned to the first-team squad and could play a part against Stoke City, with Moyes remarking,

“He’s back in training. We go him back at the start of the week so we will keep monitoring him.

“We’ll see how he is. Obviously, he hasn’t played for 11 weeks so I have that on my mind as well.

“But, if we get Andy back it will be a big plus for us. We know how good he can be and what he can bring to us so the sooner we get him back the better.”

Here at Vital West Ham, we reckon Carroll won’t start the game but could very well get a cameo performance, from the bench, sometime in the second-half.
