A subject we`ve already touched upon is that of our striker situation come the summer.

With Carlton Cole`s contract coming to an end, with Andy Carroll`s loan situation to sort out and with Marouane Chamakh`s situation also to consider, we could find ourselves, come the summer, without a recognized striker.

Therefore, it comes as no real surprise that the tabloid press is linking us with the Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony.

Rated at £12 million, the capture of Bony would represent a significant coup, keep those fingers crossed!
