West Ham have started to find their rhythm under Manuel Pellegrini following a slow start to the campaign after securing three consecutive victories in the Premier League.
The Hammers have swept aside Newcastle United, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace in recent weeks to surge up the standings and have provided themselves with a solid platform to build upon during the busy festive season.
While the start to the season was a struggle, there were still positives to take from their performances and one of those was the continued fine displays from Declan Rice – who has established himself as a crucial member of Pellegrini’s side and one of the first names on the teamsheet.
Rice was singled out for praise by the club’s official social media account after the victory over Crystal Palace and it presented fans with another opportunity to give their verdict – as well as urging the club to finally bring an end to his contract saga.
We have gathered some of their comments below.

Who didn’t notice this?
The only ones that don’t notice the talent are the ones not sorting out his contract.— Hammers Chat (@hammers_chat) December 11, 2018

I know it’s easy to overhype youngsters, but Rice genuinely could be brilliant. Hopefully he realises the value of hard work and keeps at it… And double hopefully the board sort a new contract
