During the international break Javier Hernandez was on duty with Mexico.

Whilst away on international duty, rumours of a scurrilous nature appeared on the internet suggesting that the Mexican wasn`t happy with life at West Ham United Football Club.

But it appears, just as we suggested, to be speculation of a scurrilous nature.

During his pre-match press conference, ahead of the difficult trip to take on Burnley, at Turf Moor, our boss, Slaven Bilic clarified matters somewhat when he remarked about his striker`s availability and state of mind,

“You have to bear in mind that Chicharito didn`t train with us and we play an away game on Saturday and he`ll only be in training on Friday, so we`re going to see if he’s fit for Saturday.

“The good thing is he played the first game and scored for Mexico, which is always good for the strikers, and he`ll train tomorrow. I`m expecting him to be available.

“Somebody made up the rumours that he is not happy at West Ham.”

That`s a relief and let`s hope he does start at Turf Moor as we may get very few chances to come our way and we need a poacher who we can rely on to put the ball in the net.
