West Ham have excelled under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini and are looking to continue their rise in the second half of the campaign, although a major void is threatening to rip through the squad.
Marko Arnautovic is widely reported to be closing in on a move to Chinese side Shanghai SIPG and his departure would leave the Hammers in need of a new striker to lead the line at the London Stadium.
According to Football.London, West Ham are considering a swoop for Sevilla striker Wissam Ben Yedder, who has scored six goals in the Europa League this season, and it is fair to say Hammers fans are delighted with a potential swoop.
The 28-year-old France international has the experience that suggests he would be capable of immediately settling into the Premier League and, although his signature would be costly, fans took to social media to urge the club to make a move.

Ben Yedder – isn't like for like, in fact literally almost opposite in most ways but would be an insane signing. 23 G+A in 27 games
