‘Been very poor’, ‘Bang average’ – Many West ham fans call for veteran to be dropped

|

West Ham United fans want to survive and there isn’t much that they won’t do to ensure it happens, even if it means dropping their captain and veteran midfielder Mark Noble, seeing as the 32-year-old has been well off the pace in the last few weeks.

The Hammers want to see Noble drop out of the side for the time being. It seems that Declan Rice has it in him to step up and skipper the side in Noble’s absence, and that would allow Rice and Tomas Soucek to slot into midfield and star for the Irons.

A lot of supporters will be sad to see Noble fall out of favour, but this was always going to be coming sooner or later, and whilst the ageing West Ham legend will be missed when he’s gone, his best days do look to be behind him now as the relegation battle hots up.

Could the slump in form be addressed by dropping Noble?

Yes

No

The Hammers have loads of time for Noble but are of the opinion he needs to be dropped.

Noble is a disgrace . If he really loves the club he would call it a day and hang up his boots . If he plays we are nailed on to go down . If he is the stand where he belongs we might have a chance . Anderson , Fornals , Bowen on the bench and Noble on the park . We are a laughing stock to rest of the division . Noble would not get into the squad of any other club in top two divisions . He should be ashamed of himself . As for Moyes ….

pay peanuts and get a monkey … say no more .
