Plenty of West Ham United fans have been reacting to the news that the players will be returning to first-team training.
Measures have been put in place by the Premier League after clubs unanimously came to an agreement on Monday that training will commence in small groups, with a return to top-flight football edging ever closer.
The club released a statement which echoed what was announced, revealing that the Hammers will follow the protocol set out by officials and the government.
Despite this, we are not in the best position currently. West Ham are level on points with Watford and Bournemouth in 16th place, with the Cherries inside the relegation zone with nine games to go.
With this in mind, supporters were fearing the worst and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that this current year has been bad enough and hinted that it could get worse if the season resumes.
Don’t you think we’ve suffered enough?
