It would be an understatement to say that West Ham absolutely bottled it on Saturday, and fans have still not forgiven the team for their lacklustre performance.

The Irons 2-0 defeat to an Everton side who heading into the game having lost their last four Premier League games was a result not many West Ham fans could have predicted, yet it was the manner Manuel Pellegrini’s squad went about the game that has really irked supporters of the east London side.
And a recent interview with Andriy Yarmolenko on the club’s official website has done little to improve the mood with supporters, with fans on social media using the piece as a chance to target West Ham players for not showing up on Saturday as well as fearing that this bad form can carry on into the Hammers next league game against Sheffield United.
Here’s what some fans had to say about Yarmolenko’s words of encouragement, with West Ham supporters seemingly unconvinced with the Ukranian’s comments…
Are the other 10 gonna turn up this time or…?

The 30-year-old winger’s words had done little to improve West Ham fans’ confidence ahead of Saturday’s game against Sheffield United…
Fighting for every ball should be in every game, not when we lose 2 in a row.

Everytime we lose it’s the same lines regurgitated. We must learn from it. We know where we went wrong blah blah blah. Wearing very thin

Cue the next West Ham tweet “the boys have been training really well & are right up for Saturday “

Fight for every ball, well that will be a first, he certainly didn’t get that from Pelligrini, as hasn’t got a clue!!!!!

The defeat made West Ham drop to 11th in the Premier League table, though still ahead of the likes of Manchester United and Wolves in the standings.
