The rumour mill is in full flow, and it seems that we’re destined to continue to spend before the transfer deadline. The latest name to be linked with a move to the London Stadium is Steven N’Zonzi, and we could opt to exercise the Frenchman’s release clause.
According to the Sun, West Ham have joined Arsenal and Everton in the race to sign Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi. The 29-year-old reportedly has a £35M release clause in his contract, and West Ham could choose to utilise that option.
Here’s how West Ham supporters have reacted to the news on Twitter.

Did we try for him a while back? If I remember right he preferred a move to London.

Verdict:
Steven Nzonzi is vastly experienced, and he’s a commanding presence at the heart of the pitch. The French midfielder is endowed with great technical ability, and he displays impressive defensive attributes. His capacity to dominate aerial duels and his refined passing ability is particularly remarkable. Although he might be a little pricey, he would be a superb addition.
