Plenty of West Ham United fans were not impressed with Ryan Fredericks’ performance during his side’s 1-1 draw against Aston Villa on Sunday.
The 27-year-old has been a prominent part of David Moyes’ squad this season. Although did lose his place momentarily to Jeremy Ngakia, who allegedly fell out of the team after refusing to sign a new contract.
The result meant that they finished 16th in the standings, with last week’s point against Manchester United confirming their Premier League status. Despite this, the London Stadium faithful were not entirely happy with how things went and the statistics back their feelings up.

During the encounter, Fredericks lost five duels, only won two tackles and had a pass success rate of just 72%, as per Fotmob. An afternoon to forget for the right-back.
With this in mind, supporters were incensed by Fredericks’ outing and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he doesn’t even deserve a match rating, while others described him as an “absolute liability” and “dreadful”.
It’s got to be Johnson over Fredericks next season.
