Regular visitors to Vital West Ham United will have noticed, we’ve recently run two polls relating to the future of our current manager, Manuel Pellegrini.
Both polls asked for your decision on whether Pellegrini was the right man for the job and both following what were crushing defeats for the Hammers.
The first poll resulted in the first response for the three options left:
• Yes (he is the right man) – 36%
• No (he’s not the right man) – 24%
And
• Ask me after ten games – 40%
Clearly, the Hammers faithful were not sure the Chilean, despite all the excitement greeting his appointment, was the right man.
Fast forward another week, and another crushing defeat, a similar poll, with four options, produced the following results:
• Yes (he is the right man) – 14%
• No (he’s not the right man) – 43%
• Give him more time – 25%
And
• I’m wavering – 18%
Which, in our view, indicates Pellegrini’s popularity is on the wane.
I wonder, how, if our poor form continues a similar poll in three of four weeks would end?
