This Friday evening, West Ham United get a golden chance to further extend their recent unbeaten run when they make the trip to the south coast to take on Brighton and Hove Albion, in a Premier League fixture.
A run of fixtures, in all competitions, has lifted the spirits of the Hammers support who thoroughly enjoyed seeing their side turn over Manchester United, at the London Stadium, last time out.
Manuel Pellegrini has certainly seen the tide turn with regards to his status in the eyes of the West Ham support, with the Chilean having orchestrated a turnaround in fortunes after the Hammers lost their first four Premier League fixtures of the season.
However, complacency can be a dangerous enemy and West Ham will need to be on top of their game to keep the unbeaten run going at the Amex Stadium, where, by coincidence, Brighton also enjoyed a victory over Manchester United earlier this season.
